Classification of polishing discs
The connection between the polishing disc and the polishing machine can be divided into the following three types: bolt tray: suitable for polishing machines with bolt joints. Nut plate: Suitable for polishing machines with nut joints. Suction cup: Suitable for polishing machines with suction cups. That is, the head of the polishing machine is fixed with a rigid plastic polyester chassis (also called a tray), and the working surface of the chassis can be attached to an object with a nylon easy-to-stick plane, so that various suction cups can be selected according to the needs. Polishing discs by material classification
Wool polishing disc: The wool polishing disc is a traditional cutting material, which has strong grinding ability and high efficiency, and will leave a swirl after grinding. Generally used for the grinding and polishing of common lacquers, use caution when used in clear lacquers. It is generally divided into white and yellow. The bottom of the polishing disc is automatically pasted to achieve rapid conversion of the polishing disc. Generally, the white wool polishing disc has strong cutting force, can remove the paint surface seriously, and can be used to quickly remove the orange peel or modify the grinding marks with the coarse wax polishing; the yellow wool polishing disc has weaker cutting force than the white wool polishing disc, generally matched with fine wax. Polished lacquer finish to remove rough wax marks and minor scratches on the lacquer surface. Maintenance instructions: Regularly use a comb or air nozzle to clean the wool cover and remove the wax. If the wool sleeve is blocked during operation, it should be removed, put on a clean wool sleeve and continue to be polished. The used wool sleeves should be dried at the same time. After drying, rinse them with a comb brush. Be sure to use warm water when flushing. Never use hot water, strong alkaline detergent or solvent. Use a washing machine for cleaning only with a soft stop. It is usually dried with air, preferably without machine drying.
Sponge polishing disc: its cutting force is weaker than the wool polishing disc, it will not leave a swirl, which can effectively remove the flaw of the medium paint. The bottom of the polishing disc has an automatic paste on the back for quick conversion of the polishing wheel. It can be used for grinding and polishing of ordinary paints and clear paints of the body. It is generally used for polishing and waxing after polishing the wool. It is recommended that the polishing machine speed be 1500~2500r/rain, not more than 3000r/min. Sponge polishing discs can be generally divided into the following three types according to color: yellow disc: generally made of grinding disc, hard, used to eliminate oxide film or scratches. White plate: generally made of polishing disc, soft and delicate, used to eliminate hair scratches or polishing. Black plate: generally used as a reduction plate, soft and soft, suitable for the polishing of the transparent paint and the restoration of ordinary paint. The sponge polishing disc can be divided into the following three types according to the shape: straight cutting type: high speed, large heat energy, flexible, and the size of the diameter x thick is 152.4 mm × 50.8 mm. Flat cut type: large area, good heat dissipation, relatively stable, diameter × thickness is 203.2inln × (25.4 ~ 50.8) mm. Corrugated type: The working fluid is not easy to splash, and the diameter x thickness is 203.2 mm × (25.4 ~ 38.1) mm.
Maintenance instructions: After rinsing in warm water, squeeze out the water and place it face-on in a clean place for drying. Do not use soap or detergent to clean, do not machine or dry clean, do not use a comb or screwdriver to clean the sponge wheel.
